A little about me

At a young age I found hiking in the woods to be a pleasant way of spending time. I picked up a lot of pets from these walks – everything from crayfish to corn snakes. But my walks in the woods subsided through high school and college. I found an interest in computers and decided to pursue a career in information technology.

In recent years, though, I have returned to the hobby I had as a boy. Rather than capture animals and attempt to care for them, I've grown to realize their freedom is more important. I started to taking a camera along on the hikes, capturing images and leaving only footprints. That’s how I got started into nature photography.

Learning "how nature works" is what drives me to become a better photographer. Each season of the year brings entirely new opportunities, limited only by my imagination. I hope that my work helps heighten your concern for the wild lands we have remaining and inspires you to preserve them for future generations.
